Habitat:
A sand spoil deposit. With Parnassia parviflora, Gnaphalium (Alverson & Alverson 1370), Achillea millefolium, Gentiana rubricaulis, Juncus balticus, Solidago sp. (1369) and S. nemoralis (1373), Ophioglossum vulgatum, and orchid (1365), Spiranthes (1366), Gerardia (1367), Fragaria virginiana, Lathyrus (japonicus?), Triadenum (1364), young Salix rigida and Populus tremuloides and seedlings of Populus balsamifera. Common, growing in clumps. Flowers white.
