Habitat: Xeric sand prairie, railroad right-of-way on high terrace of river valley. Andropogon scoparius dominant, w/ abundant A. gerardii & Sorghastrum nutans, also Salsola kali, Rhus glabra, Monarda punctata, Ambrosia psilostachya, Solidago nemoralis, Helianthus occidentalis, us. Aster ericoides, A. sereceus, A. linariifolius.
