Habitat:
Extensive lowland prairie on huge outwash sand terrace, Wisc. River valley. Dry-mesic segments dominated by Andropogon scoparius, Sporobolus heterolepis, & Koeleria macrantha (on low swells) grading to wet segments dominated by Andropogon gerardii, Panicum virgatum, & Spartina pectinata (in shallow swales).
