Habitat: Narrow trough-shaped, grassy & weedy, roadside ditch, not very damp; slightly loamy, very gravelly, sandy soil. Assoc. include the many sedges, grasses and weeds typical of this habitat. Agrostis gigantea, Festuca pratensis, Phleum pratense,. Carex aurea, C. gracillima, C. pallescens, C. scoparia, Juncus effusus, Stellaria graminea, Rannunculus acris, Trifolium pratense, Prunella vulgaris, Achillea millefolium, Aster ciliolatus, Hieracium auratiacum, Solidago gigantea, S. graminifolia, BER. Crysanthemum leucanthemum. Stems (1) 9-22/clump.
