Habitat: Southern lowland (floodplain) forest along permanently flowing branch (not shown on topo maps) feeding creek. Pioneer forest (Salix Xrubens dominent, Acer negundo subdominant, w/ Ulmus americana, Fraxinus pennsylvanica var. subintegerrima & along upper edge Tilia americana & Juglans nigra). Muddy slumping wooded streambank, with patches of Phalaris arundinacea, Pilea fontana, Myosoton aquaticum, Cryptotaenia canadensis, Urtica dioica ssp. gracilis, Aster lateriflorus, Arctium minus, & Ambrosia trifida.
