Habitat: Streamside sedge meadow in well-developed Thuja occidentalis-Larix laricina swamp. Assoc.: Thelypteris palustris var. pubescens, Carex aquatilis, C. lasiocarpa, Betula pumila, and Campanula aparinoides var. grandiflora. At water's edge with Cardamine pratensis. Peat- and marl-filled, post-glacial lake basin.
