Habitat: Open field of Poa, probably once pastured, sandy floodplain along river. With Achillea millefolium, Hedeoma hispida, Saponaria officinalis, Specularia perfoliata, Cardamine parviflora var. arenicola, Myosotis verna, Veronica peregrina and some. Prairie species such as Penstemon gracilis ssp. wisconsinensis, Andropogon gerardii. Surrounded by forest of Acer saccharinum, Ulmus americana.
