Habitat:
growing in a 25-year old Pinus sylvestris plantation. Malaxis unifolia growing several cm away; Liparis liliifolia within 2 meters. Flower from a single plant. First noted on 13/Jul/1978 in a mature but vegetative condition: Leaves 2, orbicular, flat on the ground, 10cm long by 7cm wide, shiny green above, silvery below.
