In bed of cold-water streamlet through cool moist Tilia americana-Acer rubrum woods with Fraxinus nigra-Hamamelis virginiana understory; slightly open area with Carex gynandra, C. prasina, C. scabrata, Poa trivialis, Ranunculus hispidus. var. nitidus, and Veronica americana.
