Habitat: At parking area for fishermen and old, short, abandoned portion of pavement of Hwy and edge of young woods, with some limestone cliffs of long abandoned limestone quarry.
Notes: Large patch 10 x 5 m of stems to 2.2 m. tall, to 2.5 cm. in diameter. Pith brown, but not always noticeable when twig cut lengthwise. Buds only. Voucher for wood specimen, MADw. A collection in full flower made from this same patch on 20 June 2013 under no. Nee 60144.
