Habitat: Southern mesic forest (Juglans nigra-Tilia americana-Ulmus rubra) with understory of Fraxinus americana and Acer negundo saplings and Sambucus canadensis shrubs, ground layer of Athyrium filix-femina, Carex blanda, C. hirtifolia, C. rosea, Circaea lutetiana ssp. canadensis, Cryptotaenia canadensis, Galium aparine, Geranium maculatum, Parthenocissus sp., and Smilax illinoensis.
Notes: Herbage bright green. Entry lane.
