In places in rich cornfield (Zea mays) with Abutilon theophrasti, but not around the edge of the field where there is a thick growth of Panicum dichotomiflorum, Setaria faberi and other weeds.
Common. Branching immediately above base w/ dozens of ascending or erect stems rooting at lowermost nodes, but only a few stems actually decumbent. Young inflorescences <> symmetrical, older fruiting ones w/ at least some of branches bent to one side.
