Common assoc.: (Eleocharis robbinsii) Robbin's spikerush, (Eleocharis acicularis) needle spikerush, (Juncus pelocarpus) brown-fruited rush, (Isoetes echinospora) spiny-spored quillwort, (Potamogeton epihydrus) ribbon-leaf pondweed, (Eriocaulon aquaticum) pipewort.
