Habitat: River nearly straight through deciduous forests, 75-100 ft. wide, mostly 1-2 ft deep, bottom sand with some rocks, water clear and colorless. Vegetation very local, mostly near banks. Sparganium sp., Potamogeton amplifolius, P. alpinus, P. epihydrus, P. pectinatus, P. richardsonii, Elodea, Heteranthera dubia.
