Locality: United States, Wisconsin, Oneida, Shoreline of Sureshot Lake. Northern Highland-American Legion State Forest. About 10.6 km ESE of Woodruff. (WGS84)

Habitat: Relatively undisturbed shoreline of small seepage lake. Chamaedaphne calyculata, Rubus strigosus, Scirpus cyperinus, Carex rostrata cf., and Spiraea tomentosa common here also. \r\n\r\n

Notes: Presumably originally planted by adjacent private landowners, but now scattered throughout an approximately 10 m2 area. None of the shoots appear to have flowered. G. m. cv. 'Variegata'. [UWSP146310, UWSP146334, UWSP146429 apparently part of the same collection: S.C. Garske 673]
