Habitat: Marshy mucky shore, 10-yd. wide littoral zone; wet and sunny. Assoc.: Bidens comosus, Eleocharis palustris-very abundant, Equisetum fluviatile-very abundant, Galium tinctorium, Hypericum boreale, H. majus, Lycopus uniflorus, and Persicaria punctata. 50-acre seepage lake; water soft, slightly acidic, clear; bottom soft. Water level at 1559 ft. elev.
