Habitat:
Damp, very stony, sandy beach, 2--3 yds. wide. Assoc.: Dichanthelium meridionale, Elatine minima, Eleocharis acicularis, Erigeron cf. strigosus, Eupatorium perfoliatum, Fragaria virginiana, Iris virginica, Symphyotrichum lanceolatum, & Viola sp.-seedling (only). Rooted in thin Eleocharis acicularis mat along with Elatine minima. Spike at WIS with 2 basal sterile scales. 50-acre seepage lake; water soft, slightly acidic, clear; bottom soft.
Notes:
Tiny point 3/4 the way up the E shore from the S end of lake, 1050 ft. due NE of (more or less opposite but N of) the (W shore) boat landing.
