Habitat: Located floating at or just under the surface in sheltered areas. Common assoc.: (Brasenia schreberi) watershield, (Nymphaea odorata) white water lily, (Nuphar variegata) spatterdock, (Pontederia cordata) pickerelweed, (Spirodela polyrhiza) large duckweed.
Notes: Rare in the far northeast bay of lake. Scattered individuals occur interspersed between the lilypads. [There is a duplicate accession number for a specimen of Brasenia schreberi, Jul/13/2007, Walchak, Dan, Menominee Co.- edWooded bottomlan
