Habitat: Muck bottom in shallow water 0-1.5 meters deep. Common assoc.: (Utricularia vulgaris) common bladderwort, (Brasenia schreberi) watershield, (Eleocharis robbinsii) Robbins spikerush, (Nymphaea odorata) white water lily.
Occurrence Remarks: Common floating among floating leaf species in mucky areas of the southeast bays of lake. [There is a duplicate accession number for a specimen of Nymphaea odorata; 6/27/2007; Walchak, Dan; s.n.; Menominee Co.- editor added "a"].\\\\r\\\\n
